TaylorMade r7 Limited Driver The new TaylorMade r7 Limited Driver, like the previous drivers in the popular r7 line up from TaylorMade, uses also Movable Weight Technology to fuel a remarkable boost in performance. The TaylorMade r7 SuperQuad promoted a side-to-side change in trajectory of 28 yards, the new TaylorMade r7 Limited Driver can change your trajectory by up to 35 yards, and is able to do so with only three weights weighing 16-grams, 1-gram and 1-gram. And, whereas the r7 SuperQuad and CGB MAX drivers are draw-biased, the r7 Limited is neutral. With the r7 Limited, configuring the weights properly is intuitive and simple. If you want to bend the shot to the right, put the heavy (16-gram) weight in the toe, if you want to bend the shot to the left, put the heavy weight in the heel, and if you want the shot to go straight, put the heavy weight in the middle. All three weights and an MWT (Moveable Weight Technology) wrench are included with the TaylorMade r7 Limited Driver. The TaylorMade r7 Limited also features a new, modern and great looking clubhead shape. Triangular in shape, with soft corners, offering a pleasing appearance, the r7 Limited head is faster-looking than any previous TaylorMade r7 Drivers, and the address footprint is large and inspires confidence. The r7 Limited head is longer from front to back than the r7 SuperQuad head, which gives the r7 Limited a deeper CG that’s far back from the clubface, which in turn makes it easier to launch the ball on a high, long trajectory. The TaylorMade r7 Limited head boasts an extremely high MOI (Moment of Inertia) measurement for greater forgiveness & stability. Just like all TaylorMade drivers, r7 Limited features an Inverted Cone clubface technology for faster ball speed on off-center hits. The TaylorMade r7 Limited Driver is matched with a new high performance 60-gram Matrix XCon 5.5 MOI graphite shaft. The Matrix XCon 5.5 MOI features a stability-enhancing weave construction that extends from the butt end to the middle of the shaft. The XCon 5.5 MOI is specifically designed to work in with larger, high-MOI driver heads to reduce twisting when contact is made toward the toe or heel of the face of the club. The result is improved stability and better energy transfer on toe- and heel-hits, which improves accuracy and distance.
